Parental Engagement

Parents play a vital role in supporting their children’s learning and at South Grove staff understand this well. It is clear that children make the most of their school experience when there is good communication between home and school. As well as the informal contacts made with school, we provide regular, relevant information and look to you for your views. This will be through Head Teacher Parent Forums held termly to share with parents the continued vision and journey of the school’s improvement, Workshops where parents can learn about how to support your child at home, and termly Parent Consultation Evenings.

There are many social occasions such as class and school assemblies, special performances, plays and concerts. If, as a parent, you would like to support the school and bring in new ideas, we would love to hear from you.
