Year 4's 'Death of Osiris'

Last week Year 4 began their new writing topic based on the ancient Egyptian myth of the death of Osiris. Before jumping into the main plot, we first read an example of a super cool action story set in the midst of the jungles to help introduce the features that we will be using for the next two weeks. We discussed how we need to use fast pacing, brave and strong characters, actions verbs, onomatopoeia and suspense to make the audience feel a range of emotions. Acting out the scenes in the jungle has made us super excited to see what fantastic ideas we come up with!
