Jungle and Ocean Room

In Nursery we often learn in smaller groups with our Key Worker. This means our Key Worker has an opportunity to build relationships with your child and assess their learning in a quieter environment. This in turn informs the feedback on progress you receive during Parent’s Evening and in your child’s report at the end of the year. This learning takes place in either in Jungle or Ocean Room as well as through child- led play and focused activities. Doing so, means the children have more opportunities to have a turn, build up their effective learning behaviours such as listening to others and joining in. Here are some examples of our activities which have stemmed from our learning. The photos are labelled to indicate one aspect of the learning that is on show, although there might be lots of other aspects which are also in play.
