Year 5's Quidditch and a Victorian Classroom Experience

Yr5 -- Quidditch and a Victorian Classroom Experience -- 23-May-2025

 What a week! You knew it was last week before half term. We had participated in Quidditch and a Victorian Classroom Experience! Hogwarts came to South Grove, we flew high and far but don't worry no brooms were in sight, we played a slightly more 'muggle' version of the game! To round off all our fun learning of the Victorians we travelled back in time to 1895 to the Ragged School in Mile End to take part in activities about the Victorians, many of the children thoroughly enjoyed the classroom experience taught by the strict Miss Perkins who told us to sit up straight and only be spoken to when asked to speak! We practised the 3 R's, reading, writing and arithmetic! We are very glad that we are not in the Victorian era that is for sure!
