Year Four's Shadow Boxes

Our Year 4 designers have been incredibly busy this week constructing spectacular shadow boxes. Each box beautifully reflects their learning about different world religions, showcasing symbols, stories, and sacred spaces using intricate layers and cut-outs. When illuminated, the interplay of light and silhouette brings their knowledge to life in a truly magical way.
Year 4 brought the classic board game to life this week in a high-energy PE lesson! The school hall was filled with laughter and cheers as the children worked in teams to collect as many colorful balls as possible. One student lay flat on a wheeled scooter board, acting as the "hippo," while their teammate held their legs to steer them into the chaos. Armed with plastic baskets, the children zipped across the floor, frantically trapping balls and pulling them back to their bases. It was a fantastic, fast-paced session that truly tested their teamwork, communication and speed. The kids absolutely loved it!
