Year Four's World Book Day 2026

Our World Book Day celebrations were a total page-turner! Year 4 was buzzing with excitement as we stepped into the classroom and into the world of our imaginations. The children loved looking around to be greeted by brave heroes to mischievous villains, the costumes were absolutely incredible!
In the morning, we took part in The ‘Footy & Booky’ Quiz: We put our brains to the test with a high-energy quiz that combined our love for the pitch and the page. It was a close competition, but our "Footy & Booky" champions really knew their stats and their stories!
Later that day, we took part in the BBC Live Lesson: We joined students across the nation for an action-packed BBC session. It was a fantastic way to learn new storytelling secrets and celebrate the power of reading together.
