Year Three See the Light

In Science, we have been studying light. One of our lessons has been about sun safety and understanding that the UV rays coming from the sun are what cause damage to our skin. It is very important that when you are out in the sun, you protect yourself with sunglasses (with UV protection), a hat, protective clothing, and sunscreen — the higher the SPF, the better. It is also VERY important that we do not look directly at the sun, as that will damage our eyes. To help us look at the sun more safely, we created pinhole cameras to project a shadow onto a piece of paper.
