Year Two at the Value Games

On Tuesday 30th June, 30 of our Year 2 pupils had a very exciting opportunity! They all had the chance to take part in The Value Games - an annual multi-sport and activity event for Year 2 and Year 3 pupils. It is held at the Peter May Sports Centre in Waltham Forest, London. The festival gathers over 500 children from across the borough to participate in a carousel of various sporting activities. The event is designed to promote engagement, healthy competition, and the core "School Games Values" (such as teamwork, determination, and respect) rather than just winning. The activities can range widely across the day and have historically included sports like boxercise, lacrosse, and golf. They even had Quidditch!

The children performed exceptionally well at the activity event, demonstrating enthusiasm, determination, and excellent teamwork throughout the day. They participated confidently in a variety of activities, showing impressive effort and a positive attitude regardless of the outcome. The event also gave them the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and build their confidence while working alongside others. The sportsmanship, resilience, and willingness to try new challenges created a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, making the day both enjoyable and successful for everyone involved! Well done!
