Year5 are Cryptographers!

 This term in computing we have gone from the computing suite to the classroom. Out topic for the term is 'We are Cryptographers'. In the topic we are learning about how they're are different forms of communication and how messages are transmitted across distances. Last week we were blown away attempting Semaphore out of the field. Using red and yellow flags to form letters of the alphabet. This week it was a little bit dark as we were trying Morse-code using torches. We came up with messages to send each other and used the torches to help us. It was very tricky to send these message using the torches to make sure we could understand them and decode the message
