Nursery Places for September Available Now!
We still have a few Nursery places for September so if you have a child who will be 3 by 31st August this year and need a Nursery place please apply now at the school office.
Speak to Ms McLean in the office, or email Nursery Applications if you would like further information.
If you would like to visit the Nursery and learn more, we have an open sessions on the first Thursday of every month - these should be booked at the office as numbers are limited.

Admission to Nursery
Our Nursery provides a drop in session to visit the Nursery on the first Thursday of the month at either 9:30am or 1:00pm. This is often the first opportunity that children have to come to experience learning through play, and proves to be a very valuable experience. Please contact the school office on 0208 521 6000 to confirm that the session is available. To apply for a place please drop into the school office or email parents@southgrove.waltham.sch.uk to receive an Initial Interest pack.
The school has up to 40 FTE places in Foundation Stage Nursery (up to 80 part-time places), and a limited number of full time places. The admissions and waiting list is held and run by the school. Parents apply formally for a place in our Nursery via the School Office. Children can start Nursery in the term after their third birthday, There is usually only one main intake to Nursery which is in September each year - children will only be admitted in January or April if places are available. These places are allocated using similar criteria as Foundation Stage Reception. If you have a 2 year old code we may be able to offer a space the term that they turn 3 dependent on availability. We cannot accept children in nappies unless there is a specific medical need which would need to be discussed with the Nursery staff.
